COVID Precautions for Ocean City Comic Con 2021
We are stoked to be back and to able to open the doors for you on Ocean City Comic Con for 2021. The well being of our attendees, staff, and vendors are of course paramount. With concerns over COVID's spread, we will be implementing a few safety measures.
-Masks or face covering will be required for all, and we ask that they be worn at all times while inside the convention (they can be briefly lowered to eat or drink). If you forget your mask we will provide you one while supplies last.
-Contactless payment. For the very first time credit cards will be accepted at the front ticketing area. We will not be charging any service fees for this year as we understand that creating a contactless payment option just makes good sense in the current climate. Cash will still be accepted, and we appreciate small bills and exact change greatly.
-Sanitizer stations. There will be stations throughout the convention floor with hand sanitizer for your convenience.
-Higher barriers between booths. We will be extending the pipe and drape between each exhibitor's booth up to the full 8', creating a physical barrier between each exhibitor.
-”Sneeze gaurds”. Our friends at M4 Reactor will be kindly providing us with plexi barriers for both our ticketing area and our exhibitor check-in area.
The COVID situation is of course fluid and quickly changing, and we will be doing our level best to move with it. That said these precautions may change, or other precautions may be taken.
